EKAYA BANARAS

Developed the creative direction and visual language
for Parsi Khabar, a fictional gossip magazine created for Ekaya Banaras × Ashdeen.

The collaboration brought together Banarasi weaving and Parsi Gara embroidery. The campaign brought together overheard conversations, familiar characters, vintage interiors and just enough harmless drama. Told through photography, editorial content and four short films, including the development and writing of the film scripts. it presented heritage with warmth, wit and a contemporary point of view.

Because when two textile traditions meet, there is plenty of khabar to pass around.
