This wedding season, we made a film about those who make all the magic happen. In this film we did for @HyattIndiaWeddings’ specialised wedding services called #PerfectlyYours, we decided to take away the focus from eye-wateringly expensive lehngas and chacha-masis for 90 seconds; and shine the light on some different cast and characters instead – like the bride, groom, and the team who brings their vision to life.

The ‘Wedding’ is one of the most fetishised aspects of Indian culture. With a huge amount of content – movies, shows, ads and reels content – based around it. However, what we found is that the theme represented overwhelming in such content was that of the 'great Indian family wedding'. Where the couple is just one of the participants in it. So for our campaign for Hyatt weddings, we decided to bring the focus back to the couple – to put the ‘you’ back in your wedding.
